Cardiff City Football Club

Cardiff City Football Club, known by fans as The Bluebirds are Cardiff's main football team, and are one of a handful of Welsh sides to play in the English football league system, rather than the Welsh system. Cardiff City currently play in the Football League Championship.

Their current ground is Ninian Park, within walking distance of Ninian Park railway station, but the club are in the process of planning and constructing a new stadium on the current site of Leckwith Athletics Stadium.
