Giovanni's is a popular Italian restaurant of long standing. Found on the Hayes next to Spillers' record shop, its walls are plastered with signed photos of the famous (and not-so-famous) celebs that have patronised the restaurant in the past.

The prices are a little steep, and the pizzas somewhat small for my liking, but they do provide generally good food (the garlic snail starters stand out, as does the carpaccio of beef salad). One of the better Italian restaurants in the city centre. --Llantwit 27 June 2006
